Additional Call for Student Traineeship Applications for the 2026/2027 Academic Year

CategoryFor Students
Calendar03.11. 2026

The TUKE Office of International Relations and Mobility is issuing an additional call for applications for TUKE students interested in an Erasmus+ professional internship. Applications may be submitted to faculty coordinators by November 15, 2026.

Graduate internships cannot be applied for under this call.

Duration of mobility:

  • Bachelor’s students: for the Spring Semester 26/27, the duration of mobility for an internship is set at 2 months;
  • Master’s students: for the Spring Semester 26/27, the duration of mobility for an internship is set at 2 months;
  • PhD students may participate in Erasmus+ either as short-term mobility (5–30 days) or as long-term mobility lasting 2 months.

Mobility Period:

  • Short-term mobility lasting 5 to 15 days may take place starting November 30, 2026 (excluding the Christmas holidays, i.e., from December 23, 2026, to January 6, 2027);
  • Short-term mobility stays lasting 15 to 30 days may take place starting January 18, 2027;
  • Long-term mobility stays lasting 60 days (the maximum duration for long-term mobility during the summer semester) may take place starting January 18, 2027.

All internships must be completed by July 31, 2027.

Detailed instructions on the application process can be found HERE.

Note:

  1. Selection of the institution where the student wishes to complete an internship—the partner institution’s field of study must be related to the student’s field of study. The student may choose an institution at their own discretion or may take advantage of opportunities listed on the following platform: erasmusintern.org. Internship offers can also be found on the following websites: trainingexperience.org, erasplus.com, nefelieducation.eu, esn-europa.de. A list of institutions not eligible for Erasmus+ practical internships can be found at: europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/institutions-bodies_en.
  2. The student’s application for Erasmus+ student mobility for the purpose of an internship, along with all required attachments, must be submitted by the specified deadline to the faculty’s Erasmus+ program coordinator.
  3. Once a student has been successfully selected by their faculty, they will be contacted by the Erasmus+ coordinator with instructions on how to proceed.

!!! We would like to remind you that, as part of fulfilling the objectives of the Action Plan for the Development of Internationalization at TUKE, it is an important obligation of every Erasmus+ mobility participant to provide photographic documentation from the course of the mobility (capturing your active involvement, e.g.: moments from your internship/work, meetings with staff at the host institution, consultations with your supervisor, or the motivating atmosphere at the host institution, etc.) and written feedback (https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/XBmYvbG9dF). !!!

Your experiences and insights are a valuable source of inspiration for TUKE students who have not yet participated in a mobility program for an internship. In this way, you will help us introduce the world of international mobility to the broader TUKE community and motivate them to get actively involved.

Please note: If a student in their final year (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. level) is interested in participating in a mobility program during the summer semester, they must successfully complete the program no later than 2 months before the date of their final state exam.

More information about internship opportunities, including their minimum and maximum durations, can be found here.

Grant amounts for specific countries can be found here.
