Yesterday afternoon, our faculty welcomed the third group of participants in the TUKE Children's University.

We prepared a wide range of engaging activities for the children. Gold panning was a great success and provided them with many unforgettable experiences. They also had the opportunity to explore virtual reality, immersing themselves in a variety of interactive and simulated virtual environments. They could view technological models in 3D, move through digital worlds, and, most excitingly, try out a highly realistic ambulance driving simulator, where they experienced what it is like to drive through a city as a real emergency vehicle driver.

As part of another engaging activity, the children learned about Earth observation and remote sensing. They also created plaster casts of the fossils they had made by hand and took part in a fun interactive quiz on mineral resources, which was made even more enjoyable by a guitar solo performed by one of our colleagues.
