Yesterday, our second-year Bachelor’s students of the VAZE programme took part in an excursion at TEHO Košice, where they were introduced to the district heating system of the city of Košice. They learned about different heat production options and how heat is distributed through individual heating branches connected to the city’s heat exchange stations.

The students also became familiar with the digital control center, from which staff monitor the current operational status on screens and manage the technological equipment, as well as the economic aspects, operating costs, and maintenance of TEHO.
