FBERG and the European Space Agency
Last week, our student Bc. Petra Studeničová participated in the Disruptive Innovation and Commercialisation in Earth Observation Training Course, organized by the European Space Agency (ESA) at the European Space Security and Education Centre (ESEC) in Belgium.
During the intensive four-day programme, she explored topics including innovation in Earth observation, the commercialization of space technologies, the development of satellite data-based services, and the integration of research with real-world applications.
We are proud that our students continue to represent our university, faculty, and the Institute of Geography, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems at international ESA Academy programmes. We congratulate Petra on successfully completing the training course and wish her every success in applying the knowledge, inspiration, and valuable experience she has gained as a strong foundation for her future professional development.
