The Chairman of the Scientific Board of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies, Technical University of Košice, in accordance with Section 5(10) of Decree No. 246/2019 Coll. of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic on the procedure for obtaining the academic titles of Associate Professor and Professor, announces that on May 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., an Inaugural Lecture of Assoc. Prof. Mgr. Štefan Ferenc, PhD. will take place in the meeting room of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Mining, Ecology, Process Control and Geotechnologies, Technical University of Košice, 2nd floor, Letná 1/9, Košice-Sever.

The lecture will be delivered by Štefan Ferenc from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University and is entitled:

“Uranium Mineralization in Slovakia – Current State of Knowledge.”
