Yesterday, as part of the MiniErasmus “Check Out” BERG! – “Experience a Day in the Life of a University Student” activity, we once again welcomed third-year high school students from Gymnázium Futurum Košice to the premises of the Institute of Geodesy, Cartography and GIS, Faculty BERG of Technical University of Košice.

At the beginning, we introduced them to TUKE, study opportunities, and the facilities of selected laboratories, including the preservation of mining traditions at TUKE – fBERG. As part of MiniErasmus, lectures were also delivered on “AI in Education” and “Startup Experience” by the Institute of Management and Informatization of Production Processes. From our institute, the topic “Satellites, Data and Artificial Intelligence: How We Analyze the Earth from Space” was presented. The program also included practical demonstrations in laboratories of virtual reality, railway transport, and robotics from the Institute of Logistics and Transport.

We believe we have motivated the students, and when applying to university in the academic year 2027/2028, TUKE – fBERG will be their clear choice. Thank you.
