Salamander Festivities 2025

During the Salamander Festivities, our colleagues were honored for their work and received awards from our highest state representatives, including the President of the Slovak Republic.

Dean Prof. Cehlár received an award from the Minister of the Environment for the development of geology, and Prof. Šofranko received an award from the Minister of Economy for his longstanding service.

At the same time, Dean Prof. Cehlár was also presented with the highest distinction of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Resource Management of AGH University of Kraków – BARBORKA – which was awarded to him by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. hab. inż. Arkadiusz Kustra, together with his Vice-Deans – Dr. hab. inż. Zbigniew Burtan, Prof. Dr. hab. inż. Piotr Małkowski, Dr. inż. Romuald Ogrodnik, and Prof. Dr. hab. inż. Daniel Saramak.
