On 23 October 2026, Ing. Miroslav Betuš, PhD., represented our faculty at an Open Day hosted by the Secondary Technical School at Kukučínova 23 in Košice, at the school’s invitation. During the event, he introduced visitors to the faculty’s study opportunities, degree programmes and graduates’ career prospects. He also highlighted pathways to university education, the links between theoretical learning and professional practice, and the role of technical disciplines in today’s society. The meeting with primary and secondary school pupils provided an opportunity to present the faculty, offer individual guidance and answer questions about university studies. Participation in the event also helped strengthen cooperation between secondary and higher education and encourage young people’s interest in engineering and natural sciences.
