Dear colleagues,

We would like to inform you about a new educational initiative, Learning for Change! – Transformative Education Innovation Lab (TEIL), launching on 3 November 2026 within the Ulysseus alliance.

TEIL is a series of free, interactive online workshops focused on sharing experiences and innovative teaching approaches in transformative education for sustainable development.

Unlike traditional webinars, TEIL offers peer-to-peer and experiential learning. During each session, participants will try out a selected educational method from a student’s perspective, take part in activities and discussions, and gain inspiration for applying it in their own teaching.

The workshops will be led by educators and researchers from Ulysseus partner universities involved in the joint research groups ARISE, FUTURABILITIES and TEd InnoLab.

Who is the series for?

Primarily university educators and researchers interested in teaching innovation, active and participatory learning methods, sustainable development, interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of students’ competencies.

📅 Initial dates: 3 November and 15 December 2026; 12 January, 2 February and 2 March 2027
🕓 Time: 16:00–18:00 (CET)
💻 Format: Online, free of charge

The series will continue until October 2027. It is organised by the Ulysseus Innovation Hub for Socio-Ecological Sustainability at the University of Münster, in collaboration with colleagues from other partner universities.
