Children's University – Week 2
Wednesday afternoon at our faculty was dedicated to the second group of participants of the TUKE Children's University.
We prepared a wide range of exciting activities and hands-on experiences for the children. Gold panning and virtual reality proved to be especially popular, allowing them to explore a variety of immersive and interactive virtual environments. The biggest attraction was a realistic ambulance driving simulator, where the children had the opportunity to drive through a virtual city as real ambulance drivers.
They also learned about remote sensing, created their own fossil casts, and took part in an engaging interactive quiz on mineral resources. The quiz was made even more enjoyable by a live guitar solo performed by one of our colleagues.
